About Drew Amend, LMSW, CHT
Drew is a highly qualified and experienced professional who has dedicated his career to helping local residents in Wichita resolve a wide range of issues through hypnotic interventions. He is a graduate of Wichita State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration, and Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio Texas with a master's in social work. Drew is certified by the International Association of Counselors & Therapists (IACT), and a graduate of the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI), the first federally accredited school of hypnosis in the country. He is also a Kansas-licensed social worker and has extensive experience in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, family systems theories, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Drew is constantly expanding his skills and is currently trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
